fJoin us for the best family event of the year! This years Kids’Carnival will be March 10th, 10 to 3 at 2129 n. Main st., Riverstone, CDA. Kids will have the chance to experience many different art mediums such as face painting, pottery, fused glass, mask making, fabric art and many more. There will be live performances from local theater and dance groups and food will be provided by Pita pit, Dangerous Dawgs and Azteca. All proceeds go to supporting the classes and camps at Art on the Edge. Hope to see you there!!

Jewelry Making Workshop with Amber Johnson

3rd-8th grades

December 6th and 13th, 5:30-6:30

Location: Art on the Edge

Kids will have the chance to hand craft one of kind necklaces and earrings for their loved ones and themselves. We will have a large variety of beads and supplies to work with. Our talented jewelry designer, Amber Johnson will walk kids through each step of this beautiful art form.

Sweet B’s Cup Cake Workshop

K-12th grade. Parental attendance required

December 14th, 6:00-7:30

Join us at Sweet B’s cupcake shop for Holiday fun!! We will be making a “cup cake” photo holder to display your favorite photos for someone you love. We will also have a chance to frost and decorate a cupcake with Sweet B’s signature flavors.

Famly Scarecrow Build

Fall Fun For The Whole Family!!!

Join us in the Fort Sherman Park for our annual scarecrow build. We will provide the forms, straw, clothes, boots and everything else you will need to create the most amazing scarecrow downtown has ever seen. Scarecrows will be be on display downtown for the following week.

This is a six week session where kids will learn the basics of hip hop and break dance. Students will work as a team to develop a routine and perform in a public setting. This class helps promote team work, creativity and healthy living.

Japan Camp

Ages 6-12yrs

Japan Camp will be a fusion of Japanese culture and modern art. Our featured artist, Austin Stiegemeier is a award winning print maker and oil painter. Austin will lead the kids through making their very own lantern complete with unique print work. Kids will also have the opportunity to make a fabric section of a koi fish quilt, origami animals and Japanese costumes. This camp will also feature area chefs who will teach the kids how to cook up some delishes Japanese cuisine for their lunch.
